Play Ball Academy - Testimonials

I think it is safe to say that every parent wants the best for their child. Finding the best can sometimes be a problem. However, after 2 years with Joe and Jeff along with their entire staff I feel lucky to have found the best coaching staff for my son. Christopher is just short of his seventh birthday so he is still young but if you ask him he is an old hand at this baseball stuff. PBA has nurtured Christopher from a young age and has helped to teach him the fundamentals of baseball. We couldn’t be more pleased with Christopher’s development.

I think it all comes down to trust and knowledge. We trust in Joe and Jeff’s staff. They are a highly ethical group of coaches that set an outstanding example for the younger players. I know that with all of their years in baseball, with many of those years coming as pro players, they have the knowledge to teach my child properly. The bottom line is that we have had a great experience with PBA. As a LL coach I have recommended that my players attend PBAs camps and consider taking private lessons through PBA.

My two sons, Kenneth and Nicholas, began expressing interest in baseball at the ages of 9 and 7.  They were raw in their skills  without much of any previous instruction.  I wanted to give them the  very best opportunity to learn the game, and as such did quite a bit  of research on who could provide them with the greatest knowledge and  instruction.  One name kept continually rising to the top... Play Ball  Academy.  My research has paid off, as this has been the best decision  I could have made in their baseball instruction.  Today, my sons are  at the top of their game and have enjoyed every moment of their journey.

Joe and Jeff have created a baseball academy which fosters not only  learning the game of baseball, but also making it fun and exciting for  those they are instructing.  They have the unique ability and focus to  draw upon the positive attributes of beginning through advanced  players and develop them to the next level.

I have been extremely impressed by this organization, which is why I  not only have my two sons under their tutelage, but also why I  schedule my Little League team camps with them season after season.  I  would highly recommend the Play Ball Academy to anyone seeking to  improve their children's or team skills.  I am a firm believer that an  organization is only as good as the people who work there, which is precisely why Play Ball Academy is the very best of it's class.

PBA has been a great experience for our son Nick. We feel that Coach Mac has really connected with him. Coach Mac as well as Coaches Harold and Jeff have kept it fun while teaching strong fundamentals of baseball and the mind set to be a strong player. We're very glad to be a part of PBA.

Steven Pack was playing Little League Majors and was in the midst of a long batting slump (beginning early in the previous season). He was put last in the batting order and struck out most of time. After just three lessons with Coach Joe Mac he was consistantly hitting line drives up the middle and was moved to the lead off position. On top of that, he was voted onto the All Star team. His increased confidence was evident both on the field and off of the diamond!.  Thanks Coach Mac!"

Our experience with Play Ball Academy has been positive on many levels for our son Michael. We feel all the coaches possess the skills and have extensive baseball backgrounds that enable them to instruct and motivate our son in all things baseball. We feel our son has grown not only in baseball skills but in work ethics, responsibility & commitment to put 100% into everything he does.

Coach Harold has done a great job of working with my son to develop fundamental hitting skills that will allow him to continue playing competitive baseball as he enters high school. When working with my son, coach Harold's love of baseball and teaching kids how to better succeed in the sport is so evident. There are so many people your children come in contact with in life, and I for one think that the interaction with coach Harold has helped my son be a better hitter, and understand that the only way to succeed in anything is to work hard. Thank you Harold for not just showing up to help, be really putting yourself into the hitting lessons.
